A 25-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with assaulting a police officer, possession of a bladed article and a public order offender.
Andrew Paul Robinson, of Ivy Road, Halliwell, has been bailed to appear before Bolton Magistrates' Court on August 18.
Police were called to Ivy Road on Sunday after concerns for a person’s welfare, and found a man behaving in a threatening manner with a knife.
