A PILLAR of the Radcliffe community was honoured as part of Asda's 50th anniversary celebrations.
Ann Chapman, known for her work as a scout leader, manager of the Giants Seat campsite, and Rotarian, was presented with a cake, flowers, and a gift card on July 18 in a 'Cake My Day' ceremony.
Asda community life champion Stephen Bonsall said: "Ann just does absolutely loads for our community, so she is the perfect candidate for this recognition and celebration.
"There is never any hesitation with Ann, she will jump to any challenge with enthusiasm and a unique sense of humour."
