Bolton traffic and travel update – Wednesday, August 5, 2015
TRAFFIC is starting to build up in the usual areas in and out of Bolton during the morning rush hour.
There are no major incidents to report this morning, but there are reports of slow moving traffic on major routes.
There is congestion on the M61 southbound between Junction 3 at the Kearsley Spur to Junciton 1 at the Swinton Interchange, and also on Wigan Road in Atherton where traffic is busy but moving.
Network Rail says that the trains are running without disruption this morning.
