A KEEN walker known to spend time at Moses Gate Country Park has been reported missing.

Police are concerned for Jerry Hennelly, aged 50, who was last seen at his home in Heaton on Thursday, August 13.

He had left the house to go to Manchester.

Mr Hennelly is also known to go to Queens Park and Rivington, as well as Moss Side Leisure Centre to play squash.

He is described as being white, 6ft tall, of medium build, has red hair, blue eyes and has an Irish accent.

It is believed he was wearing a blue checked shirt, blue jeans and dark trainers.

It is also thought his car, a silver Renault Scenic, was spotted driving into Bolton on St Peter’s Way at bout 8.15pm on August 13.
