A MAN had to be rescued by firefighters after falling over a wall and becoming stuck by a railway line.
The 23-year-old had fallen and was 15ft down next to the railway line, near to Silverwell Street at about 5.45am.
He had suffered minor injuries, and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
A spokesman said: "We were called to Silverwell Street where a man had fallen over a wall and was stuck by the railway side and was possibly injured.
"When crew arrived, they found a 23-year-old who was 15ft down next to the railway line.
"Firefighters used a ladder to allow paramedics to get to him and assess him. He only had minor injuries and was took up the ladder to safety, and was treated by paramedics."
