Curfew order for amaretto thief

A THIEF was given a community order after stealing groceries and alcohol.

Gary Still, aged 41, of Cicero Street, Harpurhey, Manchester, admitted stealing £72.96 worth of groceries from Co-op in Wigan Road on May 27, and two bottles of amaretto from Lidl in Derby Street on August 26.

He was ordered to observe a curfew from 10pm to 7am for four weeks by Bolton magistrates, and was ordered to pay compensation of £72.96, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150.

Man breached restraining order 

A MAN has been fined after breaching a restraining order.

Olen Martin Loynd, aged 27, of no fixed address, admitted the offence and was fined £120 by Bolton magistrates.

He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £180.

Assault case curfew order

A MAN has been ordered to observe a curfew after assaulting a woman and a man.

Max Wilding, aged 18, of Cateaton Street, Bury, must remain at home from 7pm to 7am for 12 weeks after admitting the offences.

Bolton magistrates also imposed a restraining order, and ordered Wilding to pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £60, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150.

Man fined for trespassing

A HORWICH man was sentenced to a community order after admitting trespass and damaging lighting and a CCTV camera.

Luke Alberts, aged 18, of Chorley New Road, must observe a curfew from 7pm to 7am for 12 weeks.

Bolton magistrates ordered him to pay compensation of £250, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Assault man jailed

MAGISTRATES have jailed a man for 10 weeks after he admitted assault and damaging a window.

Paul Marsh, aged 27, of no fixed address, assaulted Simon Woodend on August 6 and caused damage, estimated at £50, to Stonham Housing Association property.

The court also ordered him to pay a £150 criminal courts charge.

Drink drive moped rider fined

A MOPED rider caught drink driving has been fined and banned from the roads for 16 months.

Bolton magistrates heard how Akos Keszthelyi, aged 27, of St Helens Road, Bolton, was over the alcohol limit when riding the Keeway moped on Longfield Road, Daubhill, on August 23.

Keszthelyi also admitted having no driving licence or insurance.

He was fined £150 and ordered to pay £255 in costs and charges.

Police assault teenager to pay compensation

A TEENAGER who assaulted a police officer has been ordered to pay his victim £25 compensation.

At Bolton Magistrates' Court Liam Price, aged 18, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to the offence.

He will be subject to supervision for 12 months, spend 18 hours at an attendance centre and complete 20 days of a rehabilitation activity.

He must also pay a £150 criminal courts charge.
