Drug possession

MAGISTRATES have ordered a man to spend 24 hours at an attendance centre after he pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis.

Tyrone Cameron, aged 24, of Crossmoor Drive, Tonge Moor, was also told he must pay £325 in costs and charges.

Driver fined

A DRIVER has been fined £200 by magistrates after pleading guilty to keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road.

Darren Davenport, aged 47, of Higher Landermans, Westhoughton, was also ordered to pay £326.67 in vehicle excise back duty and £110 in costs and surcharges.

Alcohol theft

A TEENAGER has been sent to an attendance centre for nine hours after admitting stealing alcohol.

At Bolton Magistrates' Court Connor Byrne, aged 18, of Woodbridge Drive, Tonge Moor, admitted stealing the wines and spirits from Inglenook Taverns on September 4.

As well as spending time at the attendance centre, Byrne was ordered to pay a £180 criminal courts charge and £145 on costs and charges.

Door damage

A LITTLE Lever woman has been given a conditional discharge for six months after damaging an external door.

Charlie Head, aged 21, of York Avenue, admitted the offence which took place on September 28.

She was ordered to pay compensation of £80, a victim surcharge of £15, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150 by Bolton magistrates.

Nasty assault

A HALLIWELL man has been given a suspended prison sentence after a "nasty" assault.

John North, aged 53, of Cloister Street, pleaded guilty to one assault on August 25 and another assault on August 19.

He was sentenced to 26 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months by Bolton magistrates, and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £180.

Patio destroyed

A FARNWORTH man has been given a conditional discharge for 12 months after destroying a patio door.

Keith Baines, aged 34, of West Street, admitted the offence which took place on October 2.

He was ordered to pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £15, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150 by Bolton magistrates.

Door destroyed

A DAUBHILL man has been given a conditional discharge for 12 months after destroying a UPVC door.

Stephen Whittaker, aged 33, of Sloane Street, admitted the offence which took place on October 3.

He was ordered to pay compensation of £500, a victim surcharge of £15, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150 by Bolton magistrates.

Bin bag fine

A FLYTIPPER has been fined after leaving three black bin bags at the back of his house.

Laszlo Gligorovics, aged 55, of Hennon Street, Halliwell, was proved guilty in his absence at Bolton magistrates court, and was fined £440.

He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £40, costs of £250 and a criminal courts charge of £150.

Window damage

A LITTLE Lever man was given a conditional discharge for 12 months after admitting damaging a window.

Simon Martin, aged 42, of Nandywell, was also ordered to pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £15, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150 by Bolton magistrates.

Assault order

A MAN who admitted assaulting a woman has been sentenced to a community order.

Akhter Bagasi, aged 34, of Halliwell Road, was fined £50 by Bolton magistrates and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150.
