Mayor's finale set to be a big hit

A TOE-TAPPING night of entertainment is planned for the Mayor of Bolton's charity fundraising finale.
Cllr Walter Hall is hosting a glittering charity dinner dance tonight to raise money for his annual charity appeal as his year as mayor draws to a close.
Bolton actress and dancer Casey Lee Jolleys, who shot to fame in Coronation Street, will perform two numbers from hit musical Chicago, along with members of her performing arts academy.
Singer Tam Ryan and duo Remember This will also appear at the event.
It will be held at 7.30pm at the Reebok Stadium where the Mayor and Mayoress will join guests for a four-course meal in the Platinum Suite.
Cllr Hall has raised almost £30,000 for his chosen charities this year - Bolton Hospice and the Breast Cancer and Stroke Units at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
He said: "It promises to be a great night and we've got some top-class acts lined up. I'm sure everyone will have a fantastic evening. I'd like to thank the people."
