A SIGNED boxing glove was stolen in a house burglary in which a little girl's bedroom was ransacked.

Thieves turned her room upside down to steal possessions during the break-in.

They stole a 60-inch television set and a 32-inch television set, three iPads, an iPhone, a DVD player and a bike lamp from the home in Tonge Moor, close to Crompton Way.

They also made off the gold-coloured boxing glove without its case.

The slice of memorabilia boasts the signature of four-time world heavyweight champion boxer Evander Holyfield.

Victim Paul Gallagher asked friends on Facebook to share his post about the burglary, which happened on October 9.

He wrote: "We had our home burgled.

"If anyone has been offered any of these goods since Friday please get in touch.

"Top reward paid for good information."

Mr Gallagher said: "These lads turned my 10-year-old daughter's bedroom upside down.

"She walked in on it and now she won't walk through the house on her own and cries at bedtime.

"I would appreciate any help to ensure they never come back."

Bolton North Integrated Neighbouring Policing Team also posted a picture of a boxing glove similar to the one owned by Mr Gallagher on Facebook as part of appeal for the return of the stolen goods.

Anyone with information should call 101.
