BOLTON motorists have been shamed online during a bumper month for bad parking.
Whether its impatient shoppers racing in-store to grab a bargain or parents rushing during the school run, there can be little excuse for these clear breaches of the Highway Code.
There was perhaps some karmic retribution for one motorist, whose decision to park on a construction site backfired when a stack of bricks fell from a cordoned-off building onto their car roof.
The image is among many captured by a Facebook group – whose name contains a word we can’t print – dedicated to highlighting the worst examples across Bolton and District.
The group have had their work cut-out in November, with a seemingly endless supply of foolishly-parked fodder for their lens.

Here are ten of their best/worst examples.
Thynne Street, Bolton - this motorist had been spotted by the page's keen-eyed snapper moving aside the safety cordon at this building site. Probably wished they'd stumped up for a spot on the Octagon multi-storey now.
B&M Baragains - We know there are bargains to be grabbed inside, but surely this motorist had the time to make a better job of this? In fairness, the space next to them isn't very useable
Blackburn Road, Egerton - Yellow lines, don't do it
Bolton One - Nifty way of circumventing the above problem
Highfield Road - Pedestrians are second class citizens
Holcombe Road - a 'monument' to bad parking
That's why mums go to Iceland...and get a parking ticket
Maybe they had a blue badge, but maybe that doesn't excuse this example from Leverhulme Park.
Nearly...nearly...nearly...there! Perfect. Now off to the shops at Crompton Place. Thanks to Sara Wareing for submitting this picture.
She fought the law and, well, you know the rest. "There was no one in it half hour and then she came back with all her shopping bags," says Gareth Mabon, whom we thank for this submission.
