BUDDING young entrepreneurs have developed the recipe for success with an innovative new project.

As part of the young enterprise scheme, Year 10 pupils from Bolton School launched an innovative new business called ‘Oh Crumbs’.

The team includes students Ella Stenton, Seren Davies, Samantha Woods, Sophie Brown, Ella Smyth, Saana Ahmed, Imogen Macdonald, Thea Simpson, Zara Walsh and project manager Zahra Al-Falouji.

The main product the group of girls is offering is a ‘cake in a jar’ — with the idea being that all the dried ingredients that are needed to make family favourite bakes are all contained in within a single jar.

The enterprising students have covered all the important aspects of setting up a new business, including marketing, designing and have even costed the products themselves — with each jar priced at £7.99 each.

Every ‘Cake In A Jar’ is homemade and ranges in terms of ingredients, with tasty flavours including Plain 'n' Simple, and ‘Cookie Crumble’.
