TWENTY new jobs are to be created in the Bolton area as Carewatch Bolton launches a recruitment drive to meet the increasing demands.
The home care provider is holding two recruitment open days, starting this week, with the aim of recruiting staff from the local area.
Open days will be held at Carewatch’s office, at 366 Chorley Old Rd, this Thursday [Dec 3] and next Thursday [Dec 10], between 10am and 3pm.
Lisa Booth, Carewatch Bolton registered care manager, said: “Quality care and support workers are key to our organisation’s services, but we need to recruit more if we are to meet the challenges of the UK’s ageing population.
“We’re looking for compassionate people to join our team of professionals, enabling our customers to retain their independence, dignity and security, in their own home.”
The role includes providing personal care and practical support to customers, such as helping people with bathing and dressing, shopping and accompanying them to clubs.
The company is also recruiting for a senior role as a part-time trainer for those with previous experience in care, and an administrative apprenticeship opportunity available through Bolton College.
To find out more call Lisa Booth or Melissa Derbyshire on 01204 492210.
