Thief stole £60 coat from store

A THIEF stole a coat worth nearly £60 from Debenhams in Bolton, a court heard.

Lynsey Banks, aged 26, of Laycock Avenue, Tonge Moor, admitted the offence and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150 by Bolton magistrates.

Man admitted drugs charge

A HORWICH man was given a conditional discharge for six months after admitting possessing cannabis.

Jake Sunderland, aged 20, of Fairbairn Street, was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £180 by Bolton magistrates.

Man damaged case of beer 

A BREIGHTMET man has been given a conditional discharge for 12 months after admitting causing £50 worth of damage to a case of beer.

Michael Brocklebank, aged 35, of Bury Road, was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150 by Bolton magistrates.

Driver’s ban for a year

A HALLIWELL man was banned from driving for a year after being caught drink driving on the A666.

Moubin Patel, aged 27, of Jennaby Walk, pleaded guilty and was fined £250 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £25, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150 by Bolton magistrates.

Man damaged phone 

A DAUBHILL man has been given a conditional discharge for six months after admitting causing £500 worth of damage to a mobile phone.

Aaron Downs, aged 20, of Roseneath Grove, was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150 by Bolton magistrates.

Drink-driver’s one-year ban

A HEATON woman was banned from driving for a year after being caught drink driving in St Helens Road.

Ruth Hulme, aged 31, of Brigade Street, admitted the offence and was fined £200 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150 by Bolton magistrates.

Man fined for threats

AN Astley Bridge man was given a conditional discharge for six months after admitting using threatening words or behaviour.

Karl Bowden, aged 37, of Norton Street, was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £85 by Bolton magistrates.

Man admits £80 damage to window 

A TONGE Moor man was given a conditional discharge of 12 months after admitting causing £80 worth of damage to windows.

Mark Horan, aged 47, of Starkie Road, was also ordered to pay compensation of £80, a victim surcharge of £15, costs of £80 and a criminal courts charge of £150 by Bolton magistrates.

Company fined over failing to name driver

A COMPANY has been fined by magistrates after failing to identify the driver of a Mercedes to police.

At Bolton Magistrates Court, Ceramsol Ltd, based at Stableford Farm, The Hayloft, Bolton, admitted failing to name the driver of the vehicle who allegedly committed an offence in Winsford, Cheshire on April 14.

Ceramsol was fined £400 and ordered to pay £340 in costs and charges.

Jail threat for woman who ignored court order

A WOMAN who ignored a restraining order and visited Webster Street, Burnden, has been handed a suspended prison sentence by Bolton magistrates.

Lisa Boydell, aged 39, of no fixed address, admitted breaching the order on November 25.

She was was sentenced to eight weeks in jail, suspended for 12 months and magistrates told her she must also pay £345 in costs and charges.

Tag curfew for assault man

A MAN who assaulted a woman is to be subject to an electronically tagged curfew, magistrates have decided.

At Bolton Magistrates' Court Wayne Hague, aged 50, of Holcombe Crescent, Kearsley, pleaded guilty to committing the offence on April 4.

His four week curfew will last from 7pm to 7am and he was also ordered to pay £510 in costs and charges.
