A FATHER forced to put his prized car up for sale after discovering his wife was expecting twins has seen a comedic Facebook post advertising the vehicle go viral.

Andrew Love, aged 34, put his bespoke Volkswagen Golf R400 up for sale on eBay after hearing of his new arrivals with his wife Leanne, which are expected in July.

The former Little Lever School pupil had owned the car for just three months and said he spent a lot of money on it.

The petrolhead from Bolton, who already has two children, Jorge, aged six, and Archie, aged three, says he is very happy at the news but is now looking for a car more in keeping with family life.

There has already been 27 bids on the car, with the price currently at £8,000.

Mr Love did not say how much he had spent on the car, but said he had used much of his savings fitting a new interior, badges and a private number plate.

In his Facebook post, Mr Love, an account manager, said: "This stunning one off beauty took me a lot of time, even more money and more effort to get her where she is...all gone in 2 minutes!

"Yep that's right "birthday treat weekend" has turned into the wife getting knocked up.

"Big deal I hear you say it's 5 doors, good boot what's the problem.

"Well I've got 2 little savages already who I struggle to get to behave in the back and not touch my unblemished R alcantara upholstery.

"Surely there's room for one more I hear you cry, oh yes there is but my soldiers (SBS Division, excellent swimmers) must have misunderstood their mission objective and only went and invaded two, yes that's right TWO prime targets.

"At the scan the nurse is like congratulations it's twins. All I'm thinking is i'm gonna end up with a Picasso.

"So I'm screwed and have accepted the fact that with 4 kids including twins all under 6 i'm not going to be able to own a car like this for at least 20 years.

"It's People carriers all the way and I'll probably be dead by then with all these kids so you're not getting it cheap, I've got 4 babies to feed after all so

please SHARE SHARE SHARE, cheers."
