A CAR dealership in Bolton has shown its support to Bolton Hospice – by giving staff a brand new car.

Bosses at Bolton Kia in Horwich has handed over a Kia Venga 3 to representatives from the Hospice.

The firm has been supporting the hospice for seven years and last year donated a Kia Soul car to the facility based just off Chorley New Road.

The car will be used by the hospice's fundraising team to help them visit their charity's shops and to take them to vital fundraising events.

Alice Atkinson, director of income generation and communications at Bolton Hospice, was on hand to receive the new Kia Venga. She said: ”We are overjoyed with the Kia Venga. The model has some extremely handy features such as a touchscreen sat-nav and a rear parking camera - perfect for driving between shops through the streets of Bolton.

"We’re very grateful to Bolton Kia for their help and look forward to another successful year.”

Lynsey Greaves, Marketing Executive at Bolton Kia, said she was delighted to continue supporting the hospice.

She said: "We are really pleased to be able to continue to support Bolton Hospice by providing them with a brand new Kia Venga.

"The hospice plays a vital role in the local community, providing specialist care and support for people who have life-limiting illnesses as well as their families.”
