SHOPPERS in Bolton were battered by the rain as stormy conditions hit the town on Saturday.
Forecasters predict a colder day on Monday with scattered showers, wintry over the hills, and some brighter spells.
There will be light winds in the morning, becoming stronger later, with a maximum temperature of 8C.
On Tuesday there will be strong winds and showers gradually easing.
There will be light winds, dry with sunny spells for many on Wednesday after a frosty start. It will stay wet and windy on Thursday.
