PASSERS-BY who stopped to help a man who suffered an apparent seizure in the street have been praised by police.

The man collapsed outside Cyns Tavern in the Little Hulton District Centre in Manchester Road East, Little Hulton, at 3.30pm last Monday.

North West Ambulance Service sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance and the patient was taken to Royal Bolton Hospital.

GMP's Salford West neighbourhood team posted on Facebook: "We've just been helping a male on Manchester Road East in Little Hulton that appears to have had some form of seizure.

"We'd like to thank all the members of the public that stopped to help him.

"He's now in the capable hands of the North West Ambulance Service and on his way to hospital."
