A BOLTON man has been charged with murder after a 39-year-old was found dead with multiple stab wounds.

Tomasz Bubrowski, aged 37, of Cavendish Gardens, Daubhill, who is remanded in custody, will appear at Bolton Magistrates court tomorrow, February 15.

Police were called to Davenport Street shortly after 10pm on Saturday, February 6, to reports that a man had been attacked by a group of men.

Officers attended and found a 39-year-old man, Sebastian Zuchlinski, with a number of stab wounds.

Paramedics attended the scene but Mr Zuchlinski was pronounced dead shortly after.

Six others arrested in connection with the incident have all been bailed until May 24.

Mr Zuchlinkski's friend Beata Rogala, who had known him for four years, has set up an online just giving page with a £2,000 target.

The majority of the sum, £1,200, will be used to fly Mr Zuchlinski’s body home and the remainder will go towards funeral costs.
