A PEDESTRIAN suffered serious head injuries after being knocked down by a minicab.
The girl, said to be in her mid teens, was hit by the car outside Co-op supermarket in Brownlow Way, Halliwell, at 8.25pm yesterday.
Paramedics took the teenager to the Royal Bolton Hospital, North West Ambulance Service said.
Louise Green said on Facebook: "My boyfriend saw the aftermath on his way home and said it looks like a taxi had knocked someone down as the car's windscreen was smashed and there was a person laid on the floor surrounded by lots of people.
"I hope whoever it was is okay."
