SCENE: Moses Gate Country Park
WITNESSES are sought following an alleged attack in Moses Gate Country Park.
An appeal to help find two people who attacked a man in the park on Saturday was posted on Facebook.
According to the post, the man was knocked unconscious by two men aged in their 20s while out walking a dog near the canal.
The attackers were said to be wearing baseball caps and hooded tracksuits.
It also reported that a couple stepped in to break-up the alleged assault and the man suffered swelling, bruises and concussion.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.
