THE Octagon Theatre's new season has been getting out and about in Bolton.
Reveal has seen a number of plays by new and rising writing talent being performed in the town.
Many of them have been in appearing in unusual locations, including last week's You, Me and the Goal Posts.
On Friday and Saturday performers from Paperwork Theatre took the story of the pitch onto the pavement.
The story, which follows characters Leon and Carly, took audiences from the doors of the Octagon Theatre to Le Mans Crescent on an exploration of community life in modern Britain.
Further Reveal productions have taken place in the town's restaurants, pubs and even car parks.
The festival has been curated by artistic director Elizabeth Newman, Regional Theatre Young Director Scheme assistant director Ben Occhipinti, and associate producer Deborah Dickinson.
Reveal will run until Saturday. To find out more visit www.octagonbolton.co.uk/reveal-season.
