A TODDLER from Bolton who went missing with his father has been found, police said.

Musa Bham, aged 2, lives in Daubhill with his mother and was last seen leaving the house with father Abdullah Bham on Sunday June 5.

The mother reported her son missing to Bolton police on Friday June 17 after trying and failing to secure his return through the court system.

GMP and West Yorkshire Police believed Mr Bham and Musa were his hometown of Batley, West Yorkshire.

A police spokesman said: "Musa Bham, aged 2, was last night re-united with his mother and family in Bolton.

"His father Abdullah Bham, along with other family members returned the 2-year-old to his mother's address.

"The child was healthy and in good spirits and Mr Bham expressed his regrets in keeping his son away from his mother for so long."

It is understood the father came forward after seeing the media appeal for the child's safe return.

He had not committed a crime by taking Musa off and the police investigation had been treated solely as a missing person inquiry.
