A CAR dealer was found dead inside an industrial unit in Breightmet, a coroner heard.
The inquest into the death of Sean Ridsdale, 33, of Anderby Walk, Westhoughton, was opened at Bolton Coroner’s Court yesterday.
Police coroner’s officer Julie-Ann Hyde told the court: “His wife reported him missing as she had not heard from him for 48 hours.”
Following inquiries, officers broke into Mr Ridsdale’s place of work — Unit 3 at Redbridge Industrial Estate off Manor Gate Road — shortly after 2.30am on Sunday and discovered his body.
A post-mortem examination gave the provisional cause of death as hanging.
Ms Hyde said: “There has been a police investigation and there are no suspicious circumstances or third-party involvement with his death.”
Assistant coroner Rachael Griffin adjourned the inquest until November 16.
