Comments (41)WANDERERS defender Nicky Hunt is trying his hand at a new "career" - as a headline DJ at a top Bolton nightspot.
Hunt, who has a passion for music and loves mixing records and spinning the turntables in his spare time, will be at The Bar in Nelson Square every Sunday .
He first started out on the record decks of Wanderers' team-mate Ricardo Gardner until, after numerous practice sessions, he opted to play on a bigger stage.
Hunt is now headlining the Portuguese-African themed night at The Bar.
He said: "I have always had an interest in music and would love to pursue a career in DJing when my footballing life comes to an end. We have a number of African and Portuguese players in the team and the music in our dressing room often changes. However, I usually change it back to something I like, such as hip hop and Rn'B."
The sessions, at 7pm, will feature African dance, percussion and vocals and a free buffet before 10pm.

Football is all about confidence.
There cant be anything worse than
being slagged off all the time.
Lets get behind Hunt and Nolan ,and stop shooting them down in flames.
I am the first to admit they both struggled with their form last season.
The good thing is they are both only young men,and still learning their trade.
They will both be better players next season.

To be fair to Sam, he knows where the problems are.
But he's been told that you are not signing old non Brits on big contracts.

Lets get behind the players!!! We have let the rubbish go and they are being replaced by dedicated pro's who have played in the prem for a number of years. JLS will be twice the left back Reggae boy is and we can push Rickt up the left flank. I hope we sign Hunt for the right and play attacking footy up to Davo and Anelka. Reckon we will kick Newcastle off the park, as they will play route one football, hence why Fat wallet (SA) brought in the DUKE.
