The biggest food and drink festival in the North West is back in 2016 and, once again, it’s better than ever before!
From Friday to Bank Holiday Monday, the town will come alive with sights and smells from around the globe for the 11th Bolton Food and Drink Festival.

Saturday is always a great day at the festival and organisers are pulling out all the stops this year with a cracking line up of special guests. The fantastic John Torode is making a welcome return with his easy going Australian charm, quick wit and culinary expertise, his demos are guaranteed to be fun, informative and full of great stories. Plus wine aficionados Oz Clarke and Kate Goodman will be there for the first ever wine tasting masterclasses!
Wine Tasting - Two special wine tasting sessions will be based at the brand new 'Chefs Quarter' at The Vaults, in the Market Place. With 6 great, award-winning wines courtesy of Aldi to try and experts on hand to take you on a journey through their travels, as well as round the world with these specially themed tastings priced at just £15 a head. Be quick though as places are limited. And, if that wasn’t enough then why not join John Torode and Oz and Kate for an extra special Twilight Tasting?
This unique opportunity combines the best in both food and drink for a fantastic early evening treat! In keeping with the world food theme, it's off to Australia with John who will be cooking up some of his favourite dishes that remind him of home and Oz and Kate will be pairing them with some of Headline Sponsor Aldi’s finest Australian wines. You’re guaranteed three times the fun and knowledge and some great tales of their travels and experiences of Australia and its excellent wines.
