TWO people from Bolton are the latest winners of People’s Postcode Lottery – scooping a £1,000 prize each.
The lucky Thornbeck Road residents, who play with the postcode BL1 5PW, have won the Daily Prize.
Five winning Daily Prize postcodes are announced each day from Monday to Friday and every winning ticket is worth £1,000.
A minimum of 30 per cent goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £135 million to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
A project near today’s winners that has received support from players is Good Companions Bolton, which was awarded £20,000 this year to purchase a wind turbine, solar panels and a new house for therapy.
