POLICE have found the body of a missing woman last seen leaving a hospital.
GMP launched an appeal on Thursday after Julie McClean disappeared from Salford Royal Hospital and they did not know of her whereabouts.
The 57-year-old was wearing a distinctive Sugar Puffs Honey Monster T-shirt and had a cannula attached to her arm when she left the hospital at 1.45pm on Tuesday last week.
However, officers were called out shortly before 9.40am on Saturday to nearby Buile Hill Park in Eccles Old Road, Salford, to reports that the body of a woman had been found.
There are believed to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding Ms McClean's death and a file will be passed to the coroner.
