A TEENAGER was left with a severe cut to her head after being attacked in a Bolton nightclub.
At about 3.10am on Sunday 11 September 2016, a 19-year-old woman was at Level, in Mawdsley Street, when when an object - believed to be a glass or jug - was thrown and struck her on the forehead, causing severe bleeding and a deep cut.
She was taken to hospital by an ambulance where she received treatment.
Police have now released CCTV images from inside the nightclub, showing a man who detectives want to speak with as part of their investigation.
Detective Constable Khal Rahim, of GMP’s Bolton Borough, said: “This incident has left a young woman with a nasty cut and requiring hospital treatment.
“It happened inside a busy club where lots of people would have been inside enjoying a night out, so there is a very good chance that somebody has seen something.
“We are appealing to anyone who was in Level on that night and saw what happened - or anyone who recognises this man - to get in touch and help our investigation.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Bolton CID on 101, quoting incident number 469 11/09/16 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
