BIG-hearted young people celebrated this year's harvest festival by thinking of others.
Children at Bolton Parish Church CE Primary School in The Haulgh, together with parents and staff have been collected food stuffs for Winterwatch.
Pupils heard about the work done by the charity to help those in need and also visited the local Urban Outreach, of which the organisation is a part, food store.
Headteacher Debra Meekings said: "We have collected an outstanding amount to support the work of this fantastic charity.
" As a school we believe It is really important to help children to recognise how they can support their local community and take responsibility and have a positive impact of other people’s lives."
