Bolton magistrates heard how 10 vehicles arrived on land owned by Bolton Wanderers Football Club
CARAVANS must leave land owned by Bolton Wanderers Football Club, a court has ruled.
Bolton magistrates heard yesterday how 10 vehicles arrived in Academy Way, Horwich, on October 12 and, in doing so, trespassed on the land.
A Bolton Council employee visited the site the following day and hand-delivered a direction notice instructing the vehicle owners to leave within a day. but none left.
Town Hall representatives returned on Tuesday to inform the occupiers of the court hearing, but none of them spoke in court.
Magistrates granted the council further legal powers to remove the vehicles.
