BOLTON boxer Amir Khan's wife is no doubt proud of her husband's countless achievements. 

And on Thursday, Faryal Makhdoom Khan ‏took to Twitter to share a photograph of a star bearing the sportsman’s name in Market Street. 

The 25-year-old, from New York, wrote: “Walking down Bolton town centre and I see my hubby’s star”.

The picture, taken using the Snapchat app, was captioned: “Who needs a star in Hollywood when you have one in Bolton town centre” along with an emoji wearing sunglasses.

The ‘Bolton Walk of Fame’ was put along Market Street last week to celebrate the opening of new cinema, The Light in Market Place Shopping Centre.

Other names on the stars include Dave Spikey, Amy Nuttall, Paddy McGuinness, Peter Kay and Sir Ian McKellen.
