A HALLOWEEN celebration at Kearsley Cricket Club went off with a bang on Monday.

There were rides, music and fun for all the family at the event that was raising money for Lagan's Foundation.

North West Fun Fairs and Kearsley Cricket Club both donated their services free of charge and entrance fee of £2 enabled the charity to raise over £1,300.

Charlotte Othen from Lagan's Foundation said: "It was a really great event, it was the first time that we have done the Halloween one and it was a great success so it could be something we do again.

"It was a great family occasion with children and parents choosing to dress up celebrate."

Lagan's Foundation offers home respite and support services for young children with heart defects or feeding issues across the UK.
