THERE are Mannequin Challenges – and then there are the Oscar winners.
Market Place Shopping Centre have surely taken the award for the best we’ve seen, after getting the entire mall to pose stock still while taking part in the viral internet sensation.
Retailers such as Costa, River Island and Debenhams were involved, as well as customers who were shopping at the centre at the time.
The Mannequin Challenge has become a viral internet sensation in recent weeks.
It sees people attempt to freeze their position like a mannequin while being filmed, before posting the footage online.
Recent examples have included an England football team goal celebration against Spain and presidential candidate Hilary Clinton, who completed the challenge alongside singer Jon Bon Jovi.
In Bolton, running clubs, estate agents and even a nursing home got in on the act.
