THE issue of US President Elect Donald Trump will be top of the agenda at a meeting in Bolton this week.

The Bolton Stop the War group will host a public meeting at the Friends Meeting House in Silverwell Street on Thursday from 7.30pm until 9pm.

The meeting will be titled ‘A More Dangerous World? - War and Foreign Policy Under Trump’ and will discuss how the anti-war group should respond to the election of the billionaire businessman.

Everyone is invited to attend the meeting, which will feature a talk from Daniel Jakopovich, who is a writer, researcher and national organiser for the Stop the War Coalition.

His talk will discuss the decade and a half of war in the Middle East region as well as looking at the potential challenges ahead.

Mr Trump is set to be inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States on January 20 next year.
