THIEVES broke into a primary school last night stealing a cash box.
The break-in happened at St Bernard’s RC Primary School in Wendover Drive, Ladybridge.
They smashed a window to get into the school foyer and escaped with a cash box containing a small amount of cash.
Police were informed just before 11pm last night.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police, said: “Two unknown offenders approached the front of the school and smashed a window to get into the foyer.”
Police are now appealing for witnesses as they do not have any CCTV footage or description of the thieves.
