AN inquest has been opened into the death of a man from Breightmet.
Michael Dean, aged 32, of Burnmoor Road, was found in a collapsed state at a friend’s flat on August 17, before being taken to Fairfield General Hospital in Bury, where he later died.
Senior coroner John Pollard confirmed Mr Dean had been using heroin and drinking before his death.
The inquest was opened yesterday (Wednesday) and adjourned until Wednesday, December 21.
