AN acclaimed singer-songwriter and friend of Bolton boxer, Amir Khan, was killed in a plane crash in which all 47 people on-board died yesterday.
Flight PK-661 from Chitral to Islamabad crashed in the Havelian area of Pakistan, about 43 miles north of Islamabad on Wednesday, December 7.
Among those on-board was 52-year-old Junaid Jamshed – a popular and well-known personality in Pakistan.
Mr Jamshed was a singer-songwriter, recording artist, actor, fashion designer and preacher.
On Facebook, Mr Khan said: “PIA plane crash in Pakistan. My friend @JunaidJamshedPK was on the flight also, My heart goes out to all families who lost their loved 1's.”
