FIREFIGHTERS are currently tackling a blaze in a garage in Back Eckersley Road in Astley Bridge.
Crews from Bolton North and Bolton Central were called at 12.45pm and are still on scene.
Police have been called to help with traffic management in the area.
The fire in has calmed down, still a wide cordon in place. Some people related to the business involved have gone inside with fire crews

Eyewitnesses said there were plumes of smoke covering the whole area.
