Families from across Bolton will be able to step into Mrs Claus’s House this weekend as Crompton Place hosts a bumper weekend of yuletide fun.

Inside the winter wonderland will be free festive films, Christmas cookie making, seasonal storytelling and letter writing to Santa with a special post box to send straight to the man himself.

There will also be the chance for one lucky youngster to win a £100 voucher to spend at The Works if their letter is chosen with the winner being chosen at random.

All of the activity will be taking place from 12pm to 5pm on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December.

Crompton Place Centre Manager, Paula Wood, said she was looking forward to opening the doors to Mrs Claus’s House this weekend. “We love the festive season at Crompton Place,” said Paula.

“This Saturday and Sunday are set to be fantastic days and everyone at the centre is looking forward to seeing smiling, happy faces as families take part in a cracking weekend of Christmas fun.”

Greenhalgh’s bakery will also be providing free mince pies to everyone visiting Mrs Claus’s House throughout the two days, perfect for a Christmas pit-stop.
