SCENE: The crew from Bolton Central who took part in the training exercise
FIREFIGHTERS took part in a special training session — thanks to a local business.
Crews from Bolton Central went to Lloyds Metal Processors in Raikes Lane where they worked on cars that had been damaged to look like they had been in a crash.
Crew manager Andy Bolton said: “They cleared out a space in the yard and tipped over some cars so that we could do some realistic training. It is really useful because we don’t get the chance very often to work on situations like this.”
