A CAR was deliberately set on fire in a street in Deane.
The Audi Q7 was set alight at around 1.20am.
A fire crew from Bolton Central were called to the scene in Birkenhills Drive.
Crew Manager Chris Wilcock said there was "no evidence as to how the car had been set on fire" but the crew were treating it as an arson.
The fire caused damage to the front of the car and the boot.
Mr Wilcock said: "The owner was in attendance and we were on the scene for around an hour."
Police are investigating.
