ONE lucky person has had a happy start to the new year.
The resident of Wimborne Close, Horwich, who does not wish to be named, scooped £1,000 in the People’s Postcode Lottery.
The postcode BL6 4NG landed the daily prize yesterday.
People’s Postcode Lottery Ambassador, Judie McCourt, said: “What a great way to start the year with an extra £1,000 in your bank account.
“If you’d like to be in with a chance of winning with your postcode then sign up to play now.”
In December, another postcode in Horwich was drawn as a winner, earning three lucky residents a £1,000 cash prize.
The Hilton Avenue residents bagged People’s Postcode Lottery’s daily prize on December 12.
A minimum of 30 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities, and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £168 million to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
