A CATERER has scooped the prestigious title of Golden Whisk winner 2016.
Anisha Issop, from Sharples High School, Bolton, is delighted with the accolade.
Mellors Catering Services — the nominated contact caterer at Sharples — ran the in-house cooking competition for its catering staff.
They competed against each other in heats to win a bespoke trophy and other prizes. Judges, including the food development chefs at Mellors, were whisked off their feet with Anisha’s Chana Chat and Bombay potatoes dish. The meals will now feature on the contract caterer’s menus.
Mark Lyons, operations manager, said: “Anisha is so dedicated to her job, extremely modest and passionate about the food she serves - which is why we are so thrilled for her and her team that she has won this award.”
