THRILLSEEKERS will be able to enjoy white knuckle rides and gentler entertainment at a mobile fun fair set up for the school half term.

Bolton Mega Value Park returns with new attractions to its site opposite Bolton Bus Station in Moor Lane in the town centre.

Boss Alan Cowie said: "Guests are guaranteed a safe day out locally at a first-class visitor attraction.

"To sample some of our rides would mean travelling to an amusement or theme park.

"This is our first visit since September last year and as always we are promising to bring some great entertainment into the heart of Bolton."

Expected to be a hit are the Dumbos ride where youngsters sail through the air in their own individual flying elephant and the Tagada – imported from Spain – described as "pure jumping madness".

Favourite attractions that are returning include the Waltzers, Drop Zone, Sizzler, Rage Cage, Skyliner and the Dodgems alongside a wide variety of smaller rides and inflatables.

Families will be able to drop by daily between Thursday February 17 and Sunday February 26.

Visitors must buy an entry wristband for £5 that offers unlimited rides during timed sessions.

With children still at school on February 17 and 18 there will be a single session from 5pm to 9pm.

On the remaining days the sessions take place between 1pm and 4pm, 3pm and 6pm and 6pm and 9pm although on Sundays the sessions will take place from 1pm to 4pm and 3pm to 6pm.

Separate charges applies to access the fun house, bungees, food and games.

Mr Cowie added: "The earlier you arrive the more rides you get.

"The fun park is a security controlled enclosure, creating a safe, family friendly environment.

"Litter patrols will keep the site clean and tidy and there are seating areas, and on site toilet facilities."
