ART has formed a key part of an exhibition which explores passages from the Old Testament.

Year Eight pupils from Canon Slade School, Bradshaw, have produced the artwork in an exhibition entitled How Great Thou Art, which is being held at Cafe Create, Bark Street.

Religious studies teacher Rachel Braithwaite said: “The exhibition explores through mixed media the way that pupils have interpreted Old Testament passages as part of their religious studies.

“The works include three-dimensional work, light sculptures, paintings, collage and even a mechanical scroll illustrating Jonah and the whale.”
