A PRE-INQUEST review into the shooting of a Westhoughton man was opened and adjourned yesterday.
The resumed inquest review into the circumstances leading up to the death of Michael Blake, 28, was first adjourned in November last year.
Mr Blake died on November 3, after being shot outside his home.
The latest hearing was opened in Bolton by area coroner Alan Walsh, who said the case had been transferred for a crown court trial by prosecutors to May 8, with the length and venue of the trial still to be determined. Three men are charged with his murder.
They are Nathan Daniels, aged 27, of Nottingham Avenue, Brinnington, Stockport; Joe Wilson aged 26, of Romney Way, Stockport and Nathan Quigley, aged 30, of Cleworth Walk, Hulme.
All three men plead not guilty Two other men, Brendan Fallon aged 35, of Whitsbury Avenue, Gorton and John Edwards, aged 46, of Farley Way, Reddish, Stockport, are charged with assisting an offender. The pair deny the offence.
Mr Walsh adjourned the inquest review until June 30, at 2.30pm.
