Peter Kay delighted audiences tonight when he stepped in as a judge on Let It Shine.
The Bolton comic was a guest judge on the BBC talent show this evening.
Robbie Williams was due to sit on the panel alongside Gary Barlow, Dannii Minogue and Martin Kemp for the live final.
Unfortunately, due to an ailment he was unable to fulfil the role and Peter stepped in.
The Phoenix Nights star donned large glasses, gold baseball hat and tracksuit adorned in record discs as a parody of X Factor favourite Honey G – becoming Honey P.
Introducing him to viewers, Gary Barlow said: “This person is the most successful comedian in the world.
“This person has also been in musical theatre and this person has always been a great friend of mine.”
However, Peter was not so sure he was cut out to be a judge.
He told hosts Graham Norton and Mel Giedroyc: “I’m very inadequate!
“I’m standing in for Robbie, who’s hurt his back, but he’ll be singing and dancing later.”
