FAMILIAR faces will be appearing at a new season of shows for the Octagon Theatre next month.

The theatre will be welcoming the likes of Emmerdale’s John McArdle - known to viewers as Ronnie Hale - Remmie Milner, who performed in #ChipShopTheMusical and To Kill a Mockingbird, and Victoria Brazier, who recently performed in the Manchester Theatre Awards nominated Multi-Story by Monkeywood.

They will be performing in a series of shows for the Top 5 Season starting on Wednesday.

Once a year, the Octagon opens a two-month window for anyone to send in their scripts to the Artistic Team, all of which are read. This past year saw over 800 submissions, covering a wide range of genres and topics.

All the Top 5 Readings will be performed in the Octagon Studio.

They are All in a Row on Wednesday, Three Mothers on Thursday, ROOST on March 6, The Rub on March 8 and Bleeding Hearts on March 9.

The season runs in conjunction with the Octagon REVEAL season, which sees plays being stage out and about in Bolton, starting tomorrow at Bolton Library with Under Canvas.
