IF you want to know the best places in Bolton to buy a good breakfast barm then look no further than the new internet sensations aka The Hungry Tradesmen.

The pair, Mark Harrison, 35, from Tonge Moor, and Aaron Hunt, 25, from Halliwell, set out most mornings looking for the best grub on offer from eateries, takeaways and vans, which have to date included Sean's of Westhoughton and Kara's Big Baps in Bolton.

The lads, who are landscape gardeners by profession, mark each establishment out of 10 for their food hygiene rating, banter, firmness of their bread, sausages, bacon, eggs and mushroom, which also hinges on liberal helping of ketchup, salt and pepper and very importantly value for money.

Their reviews are then published to YouTube with a deadpan expression and an expertise, which tells watchers these lads know what they like, in a character delivery reminiscent of Peter Kay and Phoenix Nights.

Aaron said: "We picked up on the idea after seeing a guy from London doing it and we have now been doing it for three to four weeks and it has been attracting a lot of attention.

"We have even had offers to do restaurant reviews in Manchester and once we have reviewed all the breakfast places we intend to move on to fish and chip business and places where you can buy lunch and evening meals."

Arron adds: "We are doing three to four of these a week and we are going to run with this, and if we are lucky enough we might even end up in the jungle with Ant and Dec!"
