GIRL GUIDE Libby Halsall has proved she will go to great lengths to achieve her dreams and ambitions.
The 10-year-old from Harwood made the headlines in December after becoming part of an elite band of youngsters to have earned all 57 Brownie Badges.
Now she is on track to do the same in Girl Guides after swimming 128 lengths of the pool, equivalent to two miles, in her bid to fundraise for the County International Trip to Switzerland in August of next year.
She completed the feat in one hour 34 minutes
And her efforts earned the St Brendan's RC Primary School pupil her first badge — the swimming badge.
Libby has raised £574.60 towards the cost of £900 for the trip per child.
The youngster thanked everyone who sponsored her, her swimming teacher and Horwich Leisure Centre for allowing her to do the sponsored swim.
